Quick and easy bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers cooked in the air fryer for a crispy, creamy, and spicy snack ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 medium-sized fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 thin-cut bacon slices
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the jalapeños. Slice each pepper in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and evenly mixed.
  3. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them generously but not overflowing.
  4. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with half a slice of thin-cut bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños in a single layer in the basket without touching.
  6. Cook for 7 minutes, flip carefully with tongs, then cook for another 7-8 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let the poppers rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not overstuff the jalapeños to avoid cheese spilling. Use thin-cut bacon for quicker crisping. Flip poppers halfway through cooking for even crispiness. Preheat the air fryer for best results. Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure proper air circulation.
