A quick and easy air fryer recipe featuring crispy salmon with a sweet and spicy honey sriracha glaze, paired with perfectly roasted broccoli.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 skin-on salmon fillets, about 6 ounces (170 grams) each
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (about 150 grams), trimmed into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss broccoli florets with 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey and sriracha until smooth. Adjust sweetness or heat as desired.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with 1 tablespoon olive oil, season with salt and pepper, then brush the honey sriracha glaze over the top side. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place broccoli in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer. Cook for 5 minutes at 400°F, shaking or tossing halfway through.
  6. Add salmon fillets skin-side down on top of or beside the broccoli. Cook for 7-9 minutes at 400°F until salmon flakes easily and skin is crisp.
  7. Remove salmon and broccoli from air fryer. Let salmon rest for 2 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Dry the salmon skin thoroughly for best crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking. If glaze starts to burn, reduce temperature by 10-15°F or tent salmon with foil after 6 minutes. Almond flour can be added for extra crust. Frozen salmon must be fully thawed and patted dry before cooking.
