These turkey and cheese roll-ups are a simple, make-ahead lunchbox solution that saves sanity on busy mornings. With a creamy ranch-Dijon spread, they’re fast to make, kid-approved, and stay fresh for days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 6 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 12 slices deli turkey breast (oven-roasted or honey-roasted)
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Optional: 6 large lettuce leaves
  • Optional: 6 thin slices tomato, patted dry

Instructions

  1. Make the cream cheese spread: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, Dijon mustard, and milk. Mix until completely smooth. Let sit at room temperature.
  2. Warm the tortillas slightly: Stack tortillas on a plate and microwave for 15 seconds to make them flexible.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture: Lay one tortilla flat. Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture evenly across the entire surface, going to the edges.
  4. Layer the turkey and cheese: Place two slices of turkey flat on the bottom third of the tortilla, slightly overlapping. Top with one slice of cheese, folded in half. If using lettuce and tomato, add lettuce first, then tomato.
  5. Roll it up tight: Start at the bottom edge, fold over the fillings, tuck snugly, and roll forward with gentle tension. Press down lightly to seal.
  6. Slice and store: Place rolled tortilla seam-side down. Slice crosswise into 1-inch rounds (about 6 to 8 pieces per roll-up). Arrange in an airtight container in a single layer; use parchment paper between layers if stacking.
  7. Chill before serving: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (best after 2 hours) before packing in lunches.

Notes

These roll-ups taste better on day two. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Do not freeze. For best results, use thicker-cut deli turkey slices and let cream cheese soften before mixing. If adding lettuce, pat dry thoroughly to prevent sogginess.
