A stunning Halloween charcuterie board featuring candy corn, caramel apples, sharp cheddar, and more. Perfect for parties, this no-cook board balances sweet and savory in about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes
  • 6 ounces Gouda cheese, sliced or cubed
  • 4 ounces salami slices, folded into triangles
  • 4 ounces pepperoni sticks, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup mixed olives (green and black)
  • 1 cup roasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 1 1/2 cups candy corn
  • 4 small or 2 large caramel apples, sliced into wedges
  • 1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
  • 1 cup ghost-shaped marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup orange and black jelly beans
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate squares (70% cacao)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • Edible glitter or gold dust (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place small bowls or ramekins on the board: one near top left for candy corn, one near top right for olives, and one in the center for jelly beans.
  2. Cut cheddar into 1-inch cubes and arrange in a small cluster near bottom left. Slice Gouda into thin triangles and fan out near the center. Use cookie cutters for fun shapes if desired.
  3. Fold salami slices into quarters and arrange in a small pile near bottom right. Place pepperoni sticks next to them, pointing outward.
  4. Slice caramel apples into wedges (about 8 per small apple) and fan them out in a curved line across the middle of the board. Sprinkle with edible glitter if using.
  5. Pour candy corn into its bowl. Arrange chocolate-covered pretzels in a zigzag pattern near the top. Scatter ghost marshmallows around edges. Place dark chocolate squares near the Gouda.
  6. Sprinkle roasted almonds and pumpkin seeds in empty spaces to fill gaps.
  7. Tuck rosemary sprigs here and there. Scatter dried cranberries. Adjust any crowded or empty areas. Add toothpicks near cheese and apple slices.

Notes

Balance sweet and savory elements across the board. Keep wet ingredients (olives, apple slices) away from dry ingredients (pretzels, nuts) to prevent sogginess. For best results, serve at room temperature after 20 minutes out of the fridge. Store components separately if making ahead.
